Tampa based Absolute Mobile Solutions's President, Alfred Goldberg, delivers the first of a three part lecture series on Mobile Marketing in Latin America.

Tampa, FL - (April 27, 2012) - Absolute Mobile Solutions's Speakers Bureau has announced the successful launch of a new lecture series geared towards the Latin American mobile market. The launch was held at La Universidad Cat?lica de C?rdoba in Tampa's sister city C?rdoba in Argentina.

The lecture was presented by Absolute Mobile Solutions's president of the Americas, Alfred Goldberg. "Although they are trailing the U.S. and Europe, Latin America is poised to be a leading market for mobile solutions by 2016. They should reach 100% mobile penetration this year and are expected to be the second largest market for LTE services. Brazil has already passed the 100% penetration milestone and is currently the sixth largest mobile market in the world," said Mr. Goldberg. "For a global company like Absolute Mobile Solutions, participation in this emerging market is aligned with our strategies."

"Motorola and Intel have offices in C?rdoba and we are working to provide our students in our engineering programs the skills these types of employers are looking for. We have recently launched an Android development course," said Dr. Pablo Petroshin. "Having speakers like Mr. Goldberg who has so much experience in mobile across cultures really helps grow interest from the students, faculty, and the rest of the community."

Mr. Goldberg hopes that his trip leads to a rejuvenation of Tampa's sister city status with C?rdoba. "I recently had the honor of joining Tampa's mayor, Bob Buckhorn, on an economic mission to our sister city in Israel. After seeing firsthand how the sister city program can increase economic cooperation and academic exchange between cities, I really would like to see exploration of strengthening the bonds between these two great cities," said Mr. Goldberg. "I see a lot of similarities between Tampa and C?rdoba and a lot to explore. I'm going to start by sending Mayor Buckhorn a photograph of one of my favorite streets here, 'Ciudad de Tampa'."
