Goldberg will speak on the importance of developers creating engaging app experiences at the annual event

TAMPA, FL. (May 28, 2015) – Absolute Marketing Solutions president Alfred Goldberg will draw on his 15 years of experience in developing mobile apps in Tampa and globally when he speaks to technology professionals at the Third Annual Code for Hillsborough (formerly Hillsborough Hackathon) on Saturday, June 6 at 6:00 pm at the Forex Factory Dinner. Code for Hillsborough is a local celebration of the National Day of Civic Hacking and invites developers, designers, community organizers and concerned citizens to develop technology-based solutions to solve issues within the local community.

Goldberg will discuss the importance of focusing on users by centering  in on the context in which they may use your app. He will give examples of the importance of understanding the 3 “P’s” of mobile engagement- purpose, presence and preference when creating an app. Goldberg will illustrate the need for having a customer-centric approach to app design and development and why it’s the only path to success.

“I’m excited to be a part of this great, community-focused event, said Goldberg. “ I chose to discuss the importance of experiences over apps because when creating technology to help our community, understanding what we need is critical. It’s with that understanding that we can utilize the power of technology to create a positive impact.”

“Alfred’s experiences in the technology industry and his passion for our community made him a natural choice to speak at Code for Hillsborough,” said Jennifer Whelihan, Economic Development Manager for Hillsborough County Economic Development. “We’d like to thank him for taking the time to speak to our audience. His knowledge will inspire others to make positive changes in our community through technology.”
