Alfred Goldberg, Co-founder of Absolute Marketing Solutions, Will Be One of Several Local Business Leaders Judging Program Pitch Contest
Tampa, FL – April 21, 2014 – Absolute Marketing Solutions, a Tampa digital agency specializing in mobile application development and responsive website design, is excited to announce that Co-founder Alfred Goldberg will be one of eight judges for the 2014 Tampa Startup Quest Pitch Day.
Alfred Goldberg has more than 14 years of experience as the leader of a local business and Tampa community member. He has been a mentor in previous years at StartUp Quest and offered a presentation during this year’s 10 week program about the art of presenting during the program meeting on March 31st.
Goldberg will judge the pitch contest by drawing from his own experience as a business owner that has worked with many entrepreneurs and startups over the years. As a member of the Board of Governors for local non-profit Tampa Bay WaVE and a previous Chair of the CEO Advisory for the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, he offers a unique perspective to evaluate the pitches.
“I’ll be looking for several qualities during the pitch contest,” said Goldberg. “You want to know that an entrepreneur has a vision, a plan to realize it, and ultimately, a goal to accomplish. StartUp Quest has helped entrepreneurs learn and improve their capabilities to be successful. I look forward to seeing what this year’s program participants do.”
The StartUp Quest Pitch Day will be hosted at the T. Pepin Hospitality Centre in Tampa from 1PM-5PM on Monday, April 28, 2014.
StartUp Quest is a technology focused training program in Hillsborough County that educates aspiring entrepreneurs. Open to veterans and professionals with a college degree, the program is led by experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders in the Tampa Bay area. Participants are paired with a mentor who helps through the process of creating simulated business plans. This 10-week course features training sessions with local business leaders every Monday.
