Absolute Mobile Solutions co-founder, Alfred Goldberg, was able to attend a special, invitation only program at Macdill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. Goldberg had the unique opportunity to fly in a KC-135 for a refueling mission.
The Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker is a military refueling aircraft and entered service with the U.S. Air Force in 1957. It is one of the few aircrafts that have been in service over 50 years. Some might be familiar with the KC-135 and its supplement aircraft, the KC-10, from movies that featured air refueling like Dr. Strangelove and Air Force One.
During the mission, Goldberg was allowed to spend time in the cockpit with the pilots. He also was allowed to observe as the boom operator refueled F-15 fighter jets while in the air above Georgia.
Absolute Mobile Solutions has provided mobile solutions to the U.S. Air Force Reserve Command as well as the U.S. Army Medical Department.
